Role OverviewKiewit Technology Group (KTG) has opportunities available for an experienced Project Manager. Project Managers are responsible for the activities associated with technical initiatives that are both strategic and tactical. They facilitate meetings, workshops, and ceremonies in support of all types of work for their teams and are responsible for the accurate and timely upkeep of data related to the team’s performance in our PPM tool.
What You Will Do
Apply generally accepted project management methodology, facilitate and lead project resources to define tasks and durations, oversee completion of project tasks, and deliver effective communication to project teams, management, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Project Management and/or Technical Delivery experience, experience with various project management methodologies, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Project Management and/or Technical Delivery experience
- Experience with various project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage procurement of software, software development and hardware as required by the project
- Understanding of fundamentals of the software development lifecycle
- Understanding of incremental delivery and the value of metrics (burndown metrics, velocity, etc)
- Understanding of backlog tracking and task definition
- Familiarity with techniques such as user story mapping, personas and persona mapping, visual management, and information radiators
- Ability to navigate complex release management environments and effective at planning and coordinating software releases at various intervals (monthly, adhoc, etc)
- Familiarity with work management tools/products, such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, OnePlan, PPM tools, etc.
