Role OverviewThe NYC Department of Design and Construction, Public Buildings Division seeks a Senior Project Manager to manage complex capital commitment projects. The selected candidate will review proposed projects, work with Sponsor Agencies, and oversee each project from conception to completion.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include generating cost estimates, developing deliverable dates, supervising project staff, resolving construction or design issues, negotiating with contractors, and processing change orders.

Requirements
- A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization
- Five years of full-time satisfactory experience managing and/or inspecting one or more construction projects with a total cost of at least $300,000 for each of the five years
- A valid license as a professional engineer, registered architect, or registered landscape architect, issued by a board of examining engineers, architects, or landscape architects
- A combination of at least two years of experience as described above and the education as described in "2" above to equal a total of five years of education and experience
