Senior Project Manager

As a Senior Project Manager at HDR, you will lead technical development of urban roadway design projects, perform quality assurance checks, and serve as a technical expert in transportation projects. You will assume project management duties, interact with clients, and supervise a medium to large staff of professionals and technicians. You will also promote delivery of all HDR services to clients and serve as a Project Manager and Lead Designer for transportation/roadway projects.

Your main responsibilities will include serving in the lead technical role in the detailed development of urban roadway design projects, performing quality assurance checks on major transportation projects, and assuming project management duties and interacting with clients as needed.

Requirements

• 8+ years project management experience (scope, schedule, budget)
• Experience managing projects for clients in Alaska, particularly the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities
• Strong relationships within the Alaska A&E industry
• Ability to promote delivery of all HDR services to clients and serve as a Project Manager and Lead Designer for transportation/roadway projects
• Bachelor's degree
• A minimum of 10 years experience in all aspects of roadway engineering design
• Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
• Demonstrated leadership skills, communication skills, and ability to work with various teams
