Role Overview

As a Senior Project Manager at HDR, you will lead technical roles in urban roadway design projects, perform quality assurance checks, and serve as a technical expert. You will assume project management duties, interact with clients, and supervise medium to large staff of professionals and technicians. You will also promote delivery of all HDR services to clients and serve as a Project Manager and Lead Designer for transportation/roadway projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in all aspects of roadway engineering design
  • Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, communication skills, and ability to work with various teams
  • Project management skills desirable
  • Experience in urban and rural highway interchanges, intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, site planning, preparation of concept alignments, geometrical layout, and CAD base alignment plans
