Role OverviewThe selected candidate will manage complex capital commitment projects, oversee the planning, execution, and project completion of capital construction projects, and manage Construction Management (CM) Staff. Reporting to the Deputy/Program Director, key responsibilities include generating cost estimates, developing deliverable dates, supervising project staff, resolving complex construction or design issues, and negotiating with contractors and vendors.

The selected candidate will have at least six years of full-time satisfactory experience in construction management work on capital projects, with at least eighteen months of experience in a managerial or consultative capacity. The candidate must also have a combination of education and experience that equals a total of ten years.
Requirements
- At least six years of full-time satisfactory experience in construction management work on capital projects, each one of which must have had a dollar value of at least $15,000
- At least eighteen months of experience in a managerial or consultative capacity in an organization responsible for the management of construction
- A combination of education and experience that equals a total of ten years
- Possession of a Motor Vehicle Driver License valid in the State of New York
