Senior Project Manager

MWH is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead critical water, wastewater, and advanced water treatment plant construction projects. The role involves planning, organizing, and staffing key field positions, coordinating with clients and A/E contacts, and ensuring projects are built on schedule and within budget.

The Senior Project Manager will plan, organize, and staff key field positions, coordinate with clients and A/E contacts, and ensure projects are built on schedule and within budget. They will also represent the company in project meetings, assist in labor negotiations, and manage financial aspects of contracts.

Requirements

• 4-year engineering/construction management degree or equivalent experience and training/education
• Minimum of 8-15 years of construction, design, finance and management experience/knowledge required on heavy civil or industrial construction projects
• 3 - 5 years of experience on water or wastewater plant projects
• Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance
• Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities vital
• Superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills essential
• Strong business-orientation required. Proven experience and judgment
