Senior Project Manager-Transit

As a Senior Project Manager-Transit, you will be responsible for managing multidisciplinary projects with a high degree of technical complexity, involving a large project staff of professionals and technicians. You will work with Transit public agencies, design, and deliver projects related to rail/transit projects. The ideal candidate will have broad experience working with Transit public agencies and demonstrate knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local standards and requirements associated with railway projects.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include taking responsibility for all aspects of client and design-team management of commuter and rail transit projects, planning, directing, supervising, and monitoring all aspects of multidisciplinary projects, producing and coordinating several projects concurrently, and serving as a point of contact between the client and HDR.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience within the transit/rail engineering industry
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Ability to manage large Transit Program/projects
• Ability to handle multiple assignments
• Ability to travel for client meetings, site visits, field assessments, and construction management, as required
• Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office software, engineering software, estimating and scheduling software, and project management software
