Job Description
The Senior Project Manager will serve as a key delivery leader for complex utility-scale solar projects, acting as the primary liaison between the project owner and multiple vendors responsible for on-site execution. The role requires deep technical and industry knowledge, strong field experience, and proven leadership managing construction-phase activities across engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 10+ years of progressive project management experience, with significant emphasis on utility-scale solar projects
  • Experience implementing and enforcing construction safety programs, including hazard analysis, regulatory compliance (OSHA and applicable federal standards), and on-site safety leadership
  • Demonstrated field experience managing solar construction activities and vendor-led execution
  • Strong understanding of EPC delivery models, construction sequencing, safety programs, and commissioning processes
  • Experience acting as owner's representative or lead interface between owners and contractors is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, power generation facilities, and grid-interconnection requirements
  • Proven ability to manage multiple contractors and vendors in fast-paced, high-risk field environments
