Senior Quality Engineer – Customer

Reporting to the Quality Manager, this position develops, maintains, and improves all aspects of G&W's quality program as it relates to customer quality and management of customer issues. This includes customer issue problem solving, root cause analysis, FMEA, NCR's, Control Plans, Value Stream Mapping, and customer issue management. The Sr. Quality Engineer will interface with customers, G&W management, and G&W departments to drive issues and update progress.

What You Will Do

As a Sr. Quality Engineer, you will interface with customers and internal teams on customer quality issues, represent G&W externally on quality issues, champion and lead quality improvement on customer issues, and lead cross-functional problem-solving teams.

We are looking for someone with 6+ years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, and strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and standards. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
• 6+ years of experience
• Experience interfacing with customers or other stakeholders on urgent/important quality issues
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and standards
• Manufacturing process experience preferred
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred
• Proven experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques
• Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
• Proficient in using quality management software and tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to influence others and build teams to address issues
• Ability to present information in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
