Role OverviewD-Wave is seeking an experienced QEC Software Engineer to co-design, validate, and test infrastructure for QEC. The selected candidate will collaborate with physicists and other QEC specialists, implement robust software components, and work with stakeholders on quantum computing applications.

Requirements
- MS or PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with a specialization in quantum computing
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with C, C++, Python, or another general-purpose compiled programming language
- 3+ Quantum computing or quantum information experience including at least one modern quantum SDK such as Qiskit, Q#, CUDA-Q, or Stim
- Competence with Git version control, build tools, and CI/CD pipelines
- Use of software testing principles and practices, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts
