Role OverviewJoin a growing R&D design team where you will design and develop sheet metal-based cooling and distribution systems supporting large-scale data center and AI infrastructure programs. This role is part of a centralized R&D team committed to launching new products, partnering with engineering and manufacturing to take products from concept through production.
What You Will Do
Develop 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings for sheet metal components and mechanical systems used in coolant distribution units and manifolds. Generate manufacturing-ready documentation including drawings, BOMs, and specifications to support internal production and external suppliers.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years of mechanical experience in drafting/design, experience using 3D CAD software, and a strong understanding of sheet metal design principles and metal fabrication processes.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in drafting, design, or related technical field
- 5+ years of mechanical experience in drafting/design
- Experience using 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo
- Strong understanding of sheet metal design principles and metal fabrication processes
- Experience creating detailed drawings and documentation for manufacturing
- Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) and/or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
- Working knowledge of GD&T preferred
- Ability to manage numerous projects and priorities in a dynamic environment
- Comfortable working across engineering and manufacturing teams
