Senior Revenue Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you will assist in the global monthly revenue close process, including analysis of accounts receivable and preparation of the allowance for credit losses. You will collaborate with various teams to understand fluctuations from budget and forecast. The Senior Accountant should have a general knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience working within a monthly close process.

What You Will Do

Preparation of monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses related to the monthly results. Assistance in a variety of aspects of the Enterprise Resource Planning system implementation. Research technical accounting issues and work with external auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience in a large, international public company and/or a Big 4 accounting firm
• Experience preparing or reviewing monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
• Process implementation experience
• Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills
• General knowledge of GAAP guidelines and ability to enhance knowledge and apply to a variety of situations
• Familiarity with systems and optimizing use of systems to generate data for analyses
• Strong Excel skills required
