Job Description
Amplitude is looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our growing Finance team and help keep our revenue engine clean, compliant, and scalable. This role sits at the intersection of accounting rigor and business partnership, working closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and FP&A.

Requirements

  • Review customer contracts and determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606, including documenting nonstandard terms
  • Own key components of the monthly and quarterly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide revenue insights and support deal structuring decisions
  • Support external audits and ensure revenue-related documentation and controls are buttoned up
  • Help scale and improve revenue systems, processes, and controls as the business grows
