Role OverviewManage the district's real estate inventory, acquisitions, facilities uses, and surplus sites. Coordinate with other departments and act as a resource on real estate issues. Work closely with the planning functions of the department to ensure the department meets the acquisition goals outlined in the capital improvement plan.
What You Will Do
Evaluate sites for acquisition, plan for development of individual parcels or complex parcels with multiple uses, coordinate due diligence, and make recommendations regarding acquisition or sale of properties.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in real estate acquisition, land development, or planning in the public or private sector, and experience in community/governmental relations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in business, public administration, Planning, Government, Political Science or Sociology or another related field
- 5 years of experience in real estate acquisition, land development, or planning in the public or private sector
- Experience in acquisition of sites for public school use or for complex land use development
- Experience in public administration with responsibility for real estate or land use planning
- Experience using Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and ESRI Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
