Role OverviewThe Senior Refrigeration Manager will oversee the operation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical refrigeration systems, boiler, hot water, domestic cold water, and compressed air systems. The role requires extensive knowledge of mechanical refrigeration systems and the ability to work in a team environment with little or no supervision.
What You Will Do
The Senior Refrigeration Manager will be responsible for operating, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical refrigeration systems, boiler, hot water, domestic cold water, and compressed air systems. The role also involves working with vendors and contractors to ensure optimal performance levels, monitoring planned maintenance, and maintaining the material integrity of refrigeration and utility rooms.

- Experience as a manager in an Industrial Refrigeration Environment
- Experience with Natural and Conventional Refrigerants including Anhydrous Ammonia
- Experience with Process Safety Management Programs
- Experience in a Food Manufacturing Environment
- Experience with Boilers, Air Compressors, Water System, R/O Systems, Water Softeners
- Experience with Pumps, Water Treatment, DA Tanks and other Utility Equipment
- Experience with Operating and Maintaining Spiral Freezers
- Ammonia Certification from RETA (CARO, CIRO, CRES, CRST, RAI)
