Role OverviewThe Revisor is responsible for planning, directing and managing the office, including supervision of lawyers, paralegals, technical support and clerical staff. The Revisor performs complex legal research, drafts legislation and other documents, prepares management reports and reviews work prepared by others. The Revisor works in concert with the Executive Director and other office directors to develop and manage organizational relationships and policies.

Draft and process legislation, maintain the Maine Revised Statutes, perform complex legal research, draft legislation and other documents, prepare management reports, and review work prepared by others.

Requirements
- Juris doctor from ABA-accredited law school
- at least eight years of progressively responsible legal and managerial experience
- at least five years of experience at the management level in a closely related field of work
