Job Description
CenterPoint Energy is seeking a Senior Right-of-Way Agent to interface with the public and governmental entities to obtain, grant, and manage property rights for the Company. This role involves land title research, drafting legal documents, acquiring rights, and resolving land and easement related issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a technical discipline related to land surveying, civil engineering, right of way, land management or a related field
  • Five years of experience in land related activities with an understanding of land transactions, legal documents, metes & bounds descriptions, land titles, land management abstracts, surveying, and GIS
  • Real Estate License and/or International Right of Way Association RWP or SR/WA certification is a plus
