Senior Risk Manager - Construction

Turner & Townsend is looking for a Senior Risk Manager to join their growing team. The ideal individual will be an experienced risk professional that has supported large scale construction projects. The role will involve maintaining visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points, using risk data to inform investment planning, and monitoring overall risk exposure.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include maintaining risk reports, conducting quantitative risk assessments, and initiating a proactive approach to risk management services. The role also involves undertaking end-to-end project risk management practices, creating risk management plans, and conducting risk reviews.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction, and a minimum of 5-7 years of applicable experience. The candidate should have demonstrated experience within a Program Management or Program Controls environment and deep knowledge and experience with risk identification, facilitation, and techniques.

• Minimum 5-7 years of applicable experience
• Relevant construction project procurement and contract management experience
• Demonstrated experience within a Program Management or Program Controls environment
• Deep knowledge and experience with risk identification, facilitation, and techniques
• Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
• In-depth understanding of construction contracts, commercial models, and delivery methods
• Proficient in process mapping, root causes analysis, problem solving, and value-stream mapping
• Familiarity with web-based database tools – ARM, Predict, Tableau
