Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Senior Roadway/Highway Design Engineer to enhance the capabilities of the AECOM Chicago, IL office. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing technical concepts and designs, and preparing documents, specifications, and estimates for transportation and infrastructure projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Professional Engineer license
  • Familiarity with IDOT, ISTHA, and local agency specifications, policies, and procedures
  • Computer proficiency in MS Word and Excel, CAD and Design software packages
  • Ability to proactively communicate
  • Established relationships with local clients
  • Alternative delivery experience
