Role OverviewAs a Senior Robotic Algorithms and Controls Engineer (Systems Analyst) at Intuitive Surgical, you will play a central role in the design, development, and support of products in the DaVinci Surgery product line. You will be responsible for tele-robotic motion control algorithms, robotic manipulator control and safety algorithms for surgical robots and surgical instruments.
What You Will Do
Design, develop, implement, and test key product control and safety software algorithms, address issues at production and in the field, analyze complex medical electro-mechanical devices and servo control systems for safety and clinical risk.

Requirements
- Minimum Masters in EE or ME with +6 years of experience in control aspects of mechatronic systems or PhD +3 years of experience in control of mechatronic systems
- Theoretical training in and experience implementing classical and modern servo control systems
- Embedded C programming capabilities as well as hardware, software, and mechanism integration skills
- Engineering intuition for mechatronic systems and detail-oriented with ability to develop and push a single solution to completion
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work autonomously while balancing collaboration on project planning and communication
