Role OverviewThis position will apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to the full range of activities required to support Airworthiness/Flight Certification of various aircraft and external stores for USAF/USN/Phantom Works/DOD, and International Military programs. Oversees the development, maintenance, and communication of complex strategies, policies, and initiatives to enhance safety and airworthiness of Boeing products and services.
What You Will Do
Researches, analyzes, and assesses highly complex safety and regulatory data, trends, and developments; provides consultation on the impact to Boeing products and services. Influences and shapes safety and airworthiness initiatives through applying advanced specialized technical expertise in airspace operations, human factors, air navigation, customer operations, safety management, policy, or regulatory domains.

Requirements
- 9+ years of related work experience
- U.S. Citizenship
- Associates degree or higher
- Working knowledge of USAF Airworthiness (MIL-HDBK-516), Life Cycle Management (63-1201 & -1202), and Foreign Military Airworthiness regulations
- Experience in USAF / US Military Maintenance
- Experience working with safety analyses such as Risk Assessments, Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA), Fault-tree Analysis (FTA), etc.
- Experience working with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventative Action, Root Cause Corrective Actions
- Experience do you have with military and commercial specs and standards
