Role Overview

This position will apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to the full range of activities required to support Airworthiness/Flight Certification of various aircraft and external stores for USAF/USN/Phantom Works/DOD, and International Military programs. Oversees the development, maintenance, and communication of complex strategies, policies, and initiatives to enhance safety and airworthiness of Boeing products and services. Researches, analyzes, and assesses highly complex safety and regulatory data, trends, and developments; provides consultation on the impact to Boeing products and services.

What You Will Do

Leads developing, deploying and implementing safety and regulatory policy, standards, and guidance. Partners with external stakeholders to identify complex safety and airworthiness issues and advises on solutions. Oversees investigation of organizational factors that contribute to safety and airworthiness issues. Provides advanced technical consultation and training relative to highly complex safety and airworthiness matters.

Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Preferred qualifications include an associates degree or higher and working knowledge of USAF Airworthiness, Life Cycle Management, and Foreign Military Airworthiness regulations.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
  • Associates degree or higher
  • Working knowledge of USAF Airworthiness (MIL-HDBK-516), Life Cycle Management (63-1201 & -1202), and Foreign Military Airworthiness regulations
