Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Scientist - LCMS to join IQVIA Laboratories at Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you will lead assay and method development projects of moderate complexity, ensuring effective delivery against timelines while providing technical leadership and mentoring junior staff.

Requirements

  • Plan development processes and author methods; execute method development experiments as needed.
  • Validate methods and support analytical testing delivery.
  • Troubleshoot assays for process optimization and contribute to lab investigations.
  • Transfer methods to validation and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure scalability and sustainability.
  • Apply advanced domain knowledge to resolve technical inquiries and lead troubleshooting projects using root cause analysis.
  • Mentor and train junior staff; lead technical projects of low to moderate complexity and oversee deliverables.
  • Support maintenance and operational standards of lab equipment; participate in evaluation and validation of new instrumentation.
  • Maintain laboratory notebooks under regulatory standards and follow all SOPs and safety requirements.
