Senior SDET Engineer

We are seeking a Senior SDET Engineer to join our team in Plano, Texas. The successful candidate will design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for web applications, APIs, databases, and distributed systems. The candidate will lead end-to-end test management activities, develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks, and collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and DevOps teams.

What You Will Do

The Senior SDET Engineer will design automation solutions for functional, integration, regression, API, UI, and end-to-end testing to improve test coverage and release quality. They will participate actively in Agile ceremonies, integrate automated test-suites into CI/CD pipelines, and leverage Azure or AWS cloud platforms to support testing activities in cloud-native and distributed environments.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The candidate should have experience in designing test strategy, test automation suites independently for a new product/application. Strong knowledge of continuous integration and deployment, programming, and SQL skills are required. Experience with Azure/AWS cloud technologies, DevOps, CI/CD experience is a plus.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Agile development methodology and Jira tool
• 5+ years of experience in testing distributed applications at multiple layers of the technology stack
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Test Management lifecycle
• 6+ years of strong working knowledge of Relational Databases like Oracle or DB2 or Postgres and experience with PL/SQL and complex queries, views, packages etc.
• 6+ years of strong experience in Test automation design, development and execution using frameworks eg. RestAssured, Playwright, Karate, Cucumber, TestNG.
• 6+ years of strong proven experience in programming - Java/Spring boot. Strong SQL skills are required. Knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript is an added advantage.
• 5+ years of strong knowledge of continuous integration and deployment – GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, SonarQube, etc.
• Demonstrated experience with Azure/AWS cloud technologies, DevOps, CI/CD experience.
