Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior SDET Engineer to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. The successful candidate will design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for web applications, APIs, databases, and distributed systems. The role involves leading end-to-end test management activities, developing and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What You Will Do
Design and develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for web applications, APIs, databases, and distributed systems. Lead end-to-end test management activities, including test planning, estimation, execution, defect tracking, reporting, and release validation. Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Java, Spring Boot, RestAssured, Playwright, Karate, and TestNG.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Agile development methodology and Jira tool
- 5+ years of experience in testing distributed applications at multiple layers of the technology stack
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Test Management lifecycle
- 6+ years of strong working knowledge of Relational Databases like Oracle or DB2 or Postgres and experience with PL/SQL and complex queries, views, packages, etc.
- 6+ years of strong experience in Test automation design, development, and execution using frameworks eg. RestAssured, Playwright, Karate, Cucumber, TestNG
- 6+ years of strong proven experience in programming - Java/Spring boot. Strong SQL skills are required. Knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript is an added advantage.
- 5+ years of strong knowledge of continuous integration and deployment – GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, SonarQube, etc.
- Demonstrated experience with Azure/AWS cloud technologies, DevOps, CI/CD experience.
- Experience in designing test strategy, test automation suites independently for a new product/application.
