Role OverviewThe Security Engineer will design, maintain, and secure endpoint and network architectures while building tailored security automations and tools to optimize detection and response capabilities. The role involves implementing engineering best practices, helping resolve production-level security matters, and ensuring technical documentation remains thorough and up to date.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities include automating reporting and other tasks using security tool APIs and/or scripting with Python, JavaScript, Go, or Bash, and working with a broad range of technologies, operating systems, and networking concepts.

Requirements
- 3+ years of network or endpoint security architecture and administration experience
- Prior experience in IT roles, such as network or systems administration, before specializing in security
- Experience with macOS endpoint management and security in an enterprise environment
- Experience with endpoint security technologies such as EDR, Privileged Access Management, and DLP
- Experience automating reporting and other tasks using security tool APIs and/or scripting with Python, JavaScript, Go, or Bash
- Experience working with SIEM platforms and log analysis tools
- Foundational knowledge of responsible use of AI and LLMs in Security
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks like NIST CSF, PCI, SOC2, HIPAA, etc
