Role OverviewThe selected professional will document CMDB requirements, define Configuration Item structures and lifecycles, implement the Common Service Data Model, configure identification and reconciliation processes, establish data-population methods, support integrations and discovery schedules, and develop CMDB health metrics and reporting.
What You Will Do
Document CMDB requirements, define Configuration Item types, review and configure CSDM, review and configure CI class attributes, identification rules, reconciliation rules, and relationships, define CI lifecycles, define primary data-population methods, configure integrations and discovery schedules, support initial data load and reconciliation process, develop CMDB health KPIs and metrics, create associated CMDB dashboards and reports.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing and configuring ServiceNow solutions, current ServiceNow certification, and a minimum of three years of experience in ServiceNow implementation, architecture, and CMDB/CSDM.
Requirements
- Minimum three years of ServiceNow implementation experience
- Minimum three years of ServiceNow architecture experience involving solution design, development, and customization
- Minimum three years of ServiceNow CMDB/CSDM experience
- Minimum three years of experience documenting CMDB requirements
- Minimum three years of experience defining Configuration Item types and scope
- Minimum three years of experience developing CMDB KPIs, metrics, dashboards, or reports
- Minimum three years of experience configuring integrations and discovery schedules
- Minimum three years of experience with ServiceNow ITSM Change Management
- Hands-on experience implementing and configuring ServiceNow solutions
- Current ServiceNow certification
