Senior Site Manager

As a Senior Site Manager at Swisslog, you will be responsible for providing detailed construction site coordination for the installation of material handling systems, supervising and coordinating mechanical and electrical installation, and ensuring quality control. You will work with the engineering and installation teams to identify problem areas and concerns, and ensure timely resolution. You will also execute the Swisslog Site Management SOP, including safety and administrative processes.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include providing site coordination, supervising installation, maintaining quality control, and ensuring timely resolution of problems. You will also execute the Swisslog Site Management SOP and work with the project team to ensure successful project execution.

Why It Might Be a Fit

To succeed in this role, you will need 8+ years of experience as a Site Manager or Installation Manager, with a strong background in material handling systems. You will also need excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to travel frequently. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction is desirable, and experience with AutoCad and MS Project is a plus.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Site Manager or Installation Manager
• 10+ years of experience in the construction field, specifically in material handling
• Team leadership skills and experience within the material handling industry
• Sound application knowledge of automated material handling equipment
• Strong experience in reading and understanding various schematics and blueprints
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated presentation skills
• Well refined computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
• Ability to travel 75% + with ongoing flexibility outside of approved PTO requests
