Job Description

Formlabs is seeking a highly motivated Senior SLS Materials Scientist to lead research and development of new SLS materials for 3D printing, from initial lab explorations to commercialization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing methodologies, and ensuring the value of good documentation. They are looking for someone passionate about material testing and troubleshooting and eager to learn new skills.

Requirements

Experience bringing a new material to market from ideation to production
Solid understanding of fundamentals of materials science and polymer product development
Hands-on experience in thermo-plastic engineering
Passion for testing and troubleshooting, with a willingness to test hundreds of times
Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
Understanding of good documentation
