Role OverviewAs a Senior Software Developer, you will join PACCAR’s talented Mainframe team, supporting the mission-critical Materials and Finance systems that power the manufacturing, supply chain, and financial operations behind the production of medium and heavy-duty trucks across North America. You will collaborate with business and technology teams to design, develop, and enhance innovative solutions, leverage modern AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and software delivery, and help ensure the reliability and performance of applications that are essential to PACCAR’s continued success.
What You Will Do
Partner with business customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend effective technical solutions. Design, develop, test, implement, and support mainframe applications and system enhancements. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring system reliability and performance.

Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of mainframe experience with COBOL, IMS DB, DB2, CICS, and JCL
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, databases, and spreadsheets
