Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer for the Sponsored Products Supply team. The team works on complex engineering, optimization, econometric, and user-experience problems to deliver relevant product ads on Amazon search pages worldwide. As a Senior Engineer, you will own and drive the technical vision and strategy for major product and engineering initiatives that span multiple teams and organizations.
What You Will Do
You will architect and lead the development of large-scale, low-latency distributed systems, ML infrastructure, and data processing pipelines that serve as foundational platforms for teams across the Sponsored Products organization. You will establish deep partnerships with science, product, and engineering teams across Ads and Retail, driving alignment on technical direction and influencing roadmaps beyond your immediate team.

Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
