Role OverviewThe Software Development Manager will lead the ENA Express team in designing and developing features across the AWS Networking software stack on Nitro Cards. The team will work on optimizing packet delivery, reducing tail latency, and improving bandwidth utilization. The manager will also mentor junior and mid-level engineers, lead design reviews, and champion engineering best practices across the team.

Design and develop features across the AWS Networking software stack on Nitro Cards, collaborate with hardware and firmware partners, partner with EC2 platform and service teams, mentor junior and mid-level engineers, and drive operational excellence.

Requirements
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle
- 3+ years of C or C++ or Rust development experience
- 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience, maintaining active programming proficiency
- Hands-on experience with Network packet processing, embedded environment (on NIC development)
