Job Description
Eleven Recruiting is seeking an experienced Software DevOps Engineer for a contract position with an investment firm in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
  • Strong knowledge of version control systems, particularly GitHub
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerization technologies like Docker
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and Bash
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies and Agile practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
  • Certification in DevOps or relevant technologies is a plus
