The team develops the next generation of platform capabilities that integrate Splunk across Cisco's enterprise software portfolio.
What You Will Do
Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex platform capabilities, drive scalable and maintainable software designs, partner with Product Managers and Architects, and own critical subsystems throughout their lifecycle.

Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in Go and Python
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building enterprise-grade software
- Experience designing distributed systems, REST APIs, microservices, and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong experience with CI/CD, Git, automated testing frameworks, performance benchmarking, and observability platforms such as Splunk, AppDynamics, or ThousandEyes
- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, reliability, Linux internals, and performance engineering
