Job Description
Senior Software Engineer III position at V-Soft Consulting, responsible for implementing new features, maintaining software quality, and contributing to a culture of learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable
  • 5 years or less of software development experience
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design and development experience with one or more of the following programing languages: Cobol, SAS, other open-system languages.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
  • Experience with any of the following, a plus: Snowflake environment tools like Elevate, Switchboard, DBT; ETL; file movement using sFTP
  • Understanding of basic networking and firewall concepts
  • Experience with version control solutions, preferably Git/GitHub
  • Understanding of the full software development lifecycle
  • Familiarity with security best practices for software development
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
