Senior Software Engineer- Kubernetes for Advanced Compute

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer to join our team, with a strong background in Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and Linux/OS and a general interest in distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Kubernetes on-premise at scale, as well as expertise in networking, security, and observability.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of software development proficiency in Golang and Python
  • BA, BS, MS, PHD, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring, alerting systems and incident management using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OTEL and other observability stacks
  • Ability to optimize, scale, and secure our infrastructure and Kubernetes environments, using deep Kubernetes and cloud platform experience
  • Ability to Implement and maintain network policies and security practices to ensure the integrity of our infrastructure and Kubernetes environments
  • Experience with Etcd, Calico, and other common CNIs like Cilium
  • Good Understanding of Kubernetes design patterns (operators, helm charts, kustomize, etc)
  • Experience with Kubernetes extensions (device-plugins, CRD, CNIs, and CSIs)
