Role Overview

Join Legislative Information Systems (LIS) as a Senior Software Engineer to make an impact serving the Ohio General Assembly and legislative agencies. You'll work with a team to create and support legislative applications, modernize practices, and encourage continuous learning and career development.

What You Will Do

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll participate in all aspects of the SDLC, collaborate with product managers and engineers, and create software development documentation. You'll also contribute to troubleshooting and technical support, assign work to team members, and create and maintain software applications.

  • Knowledge of Django, vue, postgres, React, and spring boot
  • Proficient in writing unit tests (Junit/Pytest/Jest)
