Role OverviewJoin Legislative Information Systems (LIS) as a Senior Software Engineer to make an impact serving the Ohio General Assembly and legislative agencies. You'll work with a team to create and support legislative applications, modernizing practices and encouraging continuous learning and career development.
What You Will Do
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll participate in all aspects of the SDLC, collaborate with product managers and engineers, and create software development documentation. You'll also contribute to troubleshooting and technical support, and act as a mentor to less experienced team members.

- Proficient in writing unit tests (Junit/Pytest/Jest)
- Knowledge of a key-value store technology (Redis)
- Knowledge of CI pipelines (GitLab CI or similar)
- Knowledge of Docker
