Role OverviewWe're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build and own the web experiences at the heart of our content management platform. You'll spend most of your time crafting fast, resilient, server-rendered React applications, and you'll own features end to end.
What You Will Do
Your responsibilities will include building and evolving server-rendered React applications, owning component architecture, driving web performance, delivering features end to end, developing the API and data layer, improving developer experience and quality, and taking ownership of small to medium projects.

Requirements
- BS in Comp Science or related field, or equivalent applicable experience
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong React expertise, with production experience building server-rendered applications (SSR) using Next.js or a similar framework.
- Deep frontend fundamentals: component architecture, TypeScript, state management, and a genuine command of web performance and accessibility.
- Full-stack range: comfort building the services behind the UI — Node.js and/or Java/Spring Boot REST APIs — and modeling data in a relational database such as PostgreSQL (entities, schema design, migrations).
- End-to-end ownership: a track record of taking features from design through production, and the judgment to make sound architectural tradeoffs across the stack.
- Senior-level collaboration: strong communication, a habit of mentoring, and the ability to set patterns others adopt.
- Technical writing: comfort producing clear design documentation and conventions.
