Job Description
PlayOn is seeking a versatile Senior Software Engineer to build and maintain backend systems for their high school event platform. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs, and ensuring reliable, accurate, and scalable systems. This position requires collaboration and ownership, focusing on delivering impactful solutions within a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Proven experience designing and implementing APIs
Experience with gRPC, REST, GraphQL (preferred)
Experience with Golang (required)
Strong understanding of Event Driven Architecture and Kafka
Solid background in distributed systems, concurrency, and reliable architecture
Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms and Docker
