Job Description
Milliman's Seattle Health Practice is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain software products and tools, as well as work with clients and stakeholders to promote and enhance technical products and mentor junior team members. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and commitment to creating accurate, scalable, maintainable software, as well as strong written and oral communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of software development experience, including 5 in a senior or lead role.
  • Experience working with Medicare pricing and healthcare claims data processing and integration
  • Expert level technical proficiency in: Cloud development (Azure technologies preferred) or AWS
  • Software development and architecture experience (C# /.NET and Python preferred)
  • Product experience in Databricks, Data engineering, Back-end development, and systems integration
  • Experience with SQL and Database design and maintenance
  • Preferred Qualifications: Azure or AWS developer certifications, Experience working with Excel and SAS, Experience working in a fast-paced consulting environment, Experience with React, JavaScript, Terraform, CosmosDB, and Docker
