Role OverviewAeroVect is transforming ground handling with autonomy, redefining how airlines and ground service providers run day-to-day operations. As a Senior Software Engineer, Perception, you will train, deploy, and monitor 2D/3D object detection models, build and maintain data collection, labeling, and evaluation pipeline, and architect a deterministic secondary perception system.
What You Will Do
Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include training, deploying, and monitoring 2D/3D object detection models, building and maintaining data collection, labeling, and evaluation pipeline, maintaining proprietary multi-modal dataset, and mentoring junior engineers.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We prefer candidates with a PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related discipline, previous experience working with autonomous robots, and experience developing CUDA kernels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Deep Learning, or a related field
- 3+ years of focused experience in perception (sensing, preprocessing, detection, tracking)
- Python, C++ and ROS2 proficiency
- The ability to work autonomously
