Role OverviewThe Senior Software Engineering Manager will support Intuitive Surgical and a Joint Venture's New Product Development team focused on developing, localizing, and launching robotic-assisted platforms and digital solutions in China. The role involves becoming intimately familiar with multiple robotic platform product lines, managing and coaching staff, and developing effective interfaces across the organization.
What You Will Do
The Senior Software Engineering Manager will be a direct technical contributor for development activities related to product launch in China, including creating design input documents, developing test methods, executing design verification testing, and preparing technical submission dossiers.

Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience
- BS in Computer Science, MS or PhD desired
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and work well at all levels of an organization
- Experience in designing class III software products within FDA-regulated or other regional medical device regulatory environments
- Experience with Object Oriented development in C++
- Experience in China regulations, technical guidelines, and submission pathway a strong plus
