Senior Software Manager Platform

As a Senior Software Manager, you will lead the architecture, development, and delivery of Digital Realty's next-generation Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) platform. This platform powers the monitoring, control, and optimization of critical infrastructure across our global data center footprint.

Lead and manage global software engineering teams, drive the architecture and delivery of a secure, cloud-native DCIM platform, and champion Agile development practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 10-15 years of experience leading global software engineering teams
• 10-15 years of experience designing and delivering large-scale, cloud-native, distributed platforms
• Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud architecture and services
• Strong background in distributed systems, microservices, and modern software architecture patterns
• Experience developing industrial IoT, telemetry, and edge-to-cloud solutions
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as MQTT, Modbus, or similar technologies
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and related cloud-native platforms
• Strong programming experience in C#, Java, or similar enterprise technologies
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to align technology strategy with business objectives and product vision
