Role Overview

Join the Latitude AI Systems Engineering team to work on automated driving technologies, including L3, for Ford vehicles at scale. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture, requirements, test plans, and test cases for autonomy features and functions.

What You Will Do

Lead systems engineering of Autonomy Behavior components, write requirements for performance, lead system level performance analysis, develop innovative metrics and dashboards, and analyze test results to identify performance gaps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field
  • 4+ years of relevant experience (or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or PhD)
  • Experience in motion planning, motion control, or robotics
  • Experience with analysis, metrics development, verification, or validation of complex robotics systems
  • Experience programming in Python, C++ or similar
  • Strong desire to learn new skills related to technology and software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
