Senior Software Tester

As a Senior Tester, you will take a leading role in planning and executing validation activities, designing test strategies, guiding junior testers, and ensuring thorough system validation across functional and performance areas. You will also play a key role in identifying risks, improving test processes, and ensuring high-quality releases. You will work in an office setting, with a moderate noise level.

Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases, leading validation efforts across multiple systems and environments, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with engineering teams to refine requirements and test coverage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 5-10 years of experience in software or system testing
• Strong understanding of functional and non-functional testing methods
• Experience troubleshooting complex systems
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools
• Experience with testing concepts such as (Black box, white box, load testing, performance, scalability, smoke, integration, regression, hardware / software)
• Experience with performance or scalability testing
• Basic automation or scripting experience
• Experience working with distributed or networked systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tooling
• Experience mentoring or leading small teams
• Exposure to data analysis or metrics-driven validation
• Experience with tools such as Atlassian Products, JAMA, Visual Studio Code
