Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned spacecraft thermodynamics/fluids engineer to support our team in Englewood, CO. The successful candidate will develop technical solutions for satellite systems and serve as a mentor and thought leader for our growing team of engineers.

What You Will Do

Support all phases of assigned engineering programs from inception through completion, analyze spacecraft components, lead the analysis and optimization of spacecraft fluid systems, and perform advanced simulations and modeling of fluid behavior in spacecraft environments.

Requirements

  • Ability to analyze spacecraft, aerospace or mechanical components
  • Analysis of gas/liquid propulsion monopropellant and bi-propellant components/subassemblies into gas and liquid propulsion subsystems
  • Lead the analysis and optimization of spacecraft fluid systems
  • Perform advanced simulations and modeling of fluid behavior in spacecraft environments
  • Develop and validate fluid system designs for both current and future spacecraft
  • Leverage mechanical engineering background within the fundamental areas by designed aerospace vehicle structures and spacecraft
  • Provide technical leadership in the design and testing of fluid systems
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to enhance team performance and knowledge
