Job Description
Manage operational and technical aspects of Aviation Claims, ensuring efficient, compliant, and customer-focused handling through best practices. Provide day-to-day leadership and pro-active evaluation and oversight of Follow Market claims in alignment with lead market recommendations, claims handling agreement(s), aviation insurance policies, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Investigate, evaluate, collaborate, and communicate with stakeholders on Aviation Follow Market and other Aviation claims
  • Act as a critical point of escalation on complex Aviation claims, including coverage issues, denials, large losses, and matters requiring alignment with lead market position and claim handling agreement(s)
  • Identify, analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements across Aviation claims intake, follow decisioning, payments, recoveries, and reporting
  • Maintain current knowledge of aviation products, policy wordings, claim trends, and market practices (including lead/follow protocols) to provide direction and respond to issues
  • Achieve key performance indicators for Aviation Follow Market claims (e.g., cycle time, leakage control, quality, customer service, and market responsiveness) and continuously improve service delivery
  • Cultivate positive relationships with internal partners, insureds, brokers, adjusters, counsel, and lead market contacts to support timely, consistent Follow Market outcomes
