Role OverviewThe SSHO is accountable for maintaining programs and policies in the areas of Employee Safety, Accident & Incident Prevention, Safe Work Practices, Safety Training, OSHA Compliance, Workers Compensation, Field Safety Audits, Emergency Response, Employee Wellness, Risk Management, Fire Protection, Pollution Prevention, and Safety Policies & Procedures at Orion.
What You Will Do
The SSHO will ensure that field safety programs and policies are in place to promote a safe work environment, monitor and implement the Capture Plan(s), Employee Safety, Accident & Incident Prevention Programs, and Safe Work Practices, and maintain a working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years safety and health experience in marine construction environment
- A B.S. or A.A.S. Degree in Occupational or Industrial Safety or related discipline
- A BCSP safety credential (SMS, CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, STS-C, Etc.)
- Valid driver's license
