Job Description
Aurora is searching for a Senior Staff TLM, Electrical Engineering - HPE to lead a team of electrical engineers responsible for developing electronics for LiDAR, Compute or a variety of hardware products. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, system architecture, and hardware productization, with expertise in signal and power integrity design and analysis. They will also have experience with lab instruments and be able to analyze systems for balancing electro-mechanical and EMI/EMC constraints.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree with a focus in electrical or computer engineering
  • 10+ years experience in industry developing complex electrical hardware
  • 4+ years direct, personnel leadership of electrical engineering teams including hiring, establishing best practices, managing performance and growth
  • Expertise in system architecture, signal and power integrity design and analysis, high speed signaling, grounding, analog electronics
  • High proficiency and ability to analyze systems for balancing electro-mechanical and EMI/EMC constraints
  • Extensive experience with hardware productization: system, board and chip level implementation
  • Strong electrical engineering fundamentals supported by the use of CAD tools to capture schematic designs, manage PCB layout, leverage Power/Signal simulation/emulation input
  • Expertise with lab instruments (Oscilloscopes, Analyzers, DMMs, Power Supplies, and E-loads)
